How does the school's WiFi monitor work

Use the Microsoft adapter for wireless display

The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is an effective and reliable way to project your content, photos and videos onto a big screen.

Set up the adapter

before you start

Here are some points to know before using the adapter:

  • The adapter works best when the HDTV, monitor, or projector has both an HDMI port and a USB charging port.

  • This adapter must be connected to a USB charging port, as the power supply is ensured through the USB connection.

  • Make sure your Windows 10 device has the latest updates. To find out how to check for updates, see Update Windows 10.

There are several versions of the wireless display adapter. The length and dimensions of the cable of each type are slightly different.
