How to select text in Android

Android: This is how you use the clipboard to copy and share texts

The clipboard is there so that you don't have to rewrite a text that you want to send to several people. We'll show you how you can copy, paste and share text there with your Android smartphone.

If you are working on the computer, you can simply copy text with a keyboard shortcut and paste it in another line. On the smartphone, you can just as easily process entire text passages using the clipboard.

You can not only copy, cut and paste your selected text passages, but also share them directly with friends via various chat or mailing services.

We will show you the necessary steps in our instructions below. We collect more tips and tricks for you on our overview page for using the basic functions on Android.
