Bugleweed is toxic to dogs

List of wild herbs

What kind of natural plants can my rabbits eat?
Which are poisonous?

There are hundreds of wild herbs in Germany, unfortunately not all of them are edible for rabbits.
It will certainly be some time before this list is complete - if it ever is. Until then, it can be a valuable guide for many plants in rabbit nutrition.

"In a mixture" means that they are medicinal plants and not real fodder plants.
Medicinal plants should and are never eaten in large quantities, provided there is enough choice, or only in large quantities if it is really necessary.
That is why they are always just an addition to the right forage plants. They should also not be missing in the daily meadow mix so that the rabbits have these plants available when they really need the corresponding plant substances.

But also the "Unproblematic forage plants" should never be fed alone, but in a colorful and diverse mix. Likewise, you should definitely use any mixture Grasses Add. All grasses growing in Germany can be eaten by rabbits.
